In-Kind Donations
Thank you for participating in our work through in-kind giving!
Our residents are able to make use of many in-kind donations, but some we are unable to accept due to our limited storage space. Please see the list below to learn more. If you wish to donate, please send an email to donations@christiestreetrc.com to coordinate a drop-off date and time.
Items that are Always Accepted
Urgent Basic Needs
- Grocery store gift cards (Walmart, No Frills, Metro, Food Basics)
- New Baby Supplies - especially diapers sizes 5 and 6
- Baby bibs, and laundry detergent for baby clothes
- Pre-Loaded TTC Presto Cards
- New shopping carts and small kitchenware items
Shelter Families' Urgent Needs
- Family size body lotion
- Family size body wash
- Deodorant (men and women)
- Family size shampoo and conditioner
- Body sponges or loofahs
- Family size toothpaste
- New laundry bags
Other Current Needs
- Baby wipes, wash, and lotion
- New flip flops (both genders, all ages)
- New school supplies (backpacks, scientific calculators, combination locks, scissors, and lunch bags)
