Christie Refugee Welcome Centre is honoured to receive a 2-year grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund to provide specialized homelessness prevention and housing stability support to unaccompanied and separated refugee children and youth. The project will assist children and youth to find safe short-term stays in shelters upon arrival, referrals to transitional housing, and searching for and securing permanent housing in the private market, and maintaining housing.
