Give Kids a Place to Play

Architectural Drawing of Community Green Space
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have reached our $120,000 campaign goal to renovate our back parking lot into a recreational and playground space for homeless refugee families living in our shelter.

This achievement would not have been possible without the generous support of the Gordon and Ruth Gooder Charitable Foundation who provided us with an initial $60,000 challenge grant which we were able to leverage with other funders to raise the matching $60,000.

The new outdoor recreational area will officially break ground mid-April and will provide the 250+ homeless refugees that live in our shelter every year with a serene setting to recover from their emotional trauma and socialize with other refugees.
